Import MariBank statements into Zoption

How to export your MariBank transactions

1. Sign in to your online banking and open the transaction history or statement page for the account you want to review.
2. Choose the date range you want, then use the download or export option.
3. If your bank asks for a format, pick CSV, Excel (.xlsx or .xls), or PDF — Zoption reads all of them.
4. In Zoption, open Import, choose the file, and check the preview before you save anything.

What Zoption reads automatically

Zoption looks for these headings in your MariBank file and maps them for you:

• transaction time
• transaction details
• transaction amount
• debit
• credit
• category
• transaction type
• currency

• MariBank history typically puts the date and time in one Transaction time column. Zoption reads that combined column and uses the calendar date for each entry.
• Transaction type headings such as Transaction type and Transaction status are recognised, which helps separate money in from money out.

What happens after you choose a file

Nothing is saved until you say so. Zoption shows a preview with every parsed row, flags rows it cannot read, warns you about likely duplicates, and commits your import as a single unit — so a partial import can never leave your ledger half-updated.

Once saved, the entries feed your category spending, budget progress, six-month trend, and savings rate. Amounts are stored as whole centavos, so totals stay exact instead of drifting the way floating-point sums do.

Your data stays yours

Zoption does not connect to MariBank and never asks for your banking credentials. You upload a file you already downloaded, and every record lives in your own isolated workspace. Your workspace starts empty and contains only what you choose to add.
